The Havener Law Firm, LLC is the joint enterprise of
Kathleen B. Havener, an experienced trial lawyer who focuses on complex commercial litigation, with
Thomas G. Havener, a corporate lawyer with decades of experience in business strategy, federal taxation, and tax controversies, tax-exempt financing and general transactional work.
Together, Tom and Kathleen have 44 years of experience in the profession, most of it in large firm settings in Washington DC and Cleveland OH. We handle difficult and complex matters regionally and nationwide.
We are regularly tasked with designing and implementing strategies to protect our clients against adversaries and competitors. We are fully capable of moving matters through the court system at every level, though often our work is much broader in scope than "litigation".
Our small firm platform allows us the flexibility to enter into creative fee arrangements that sophisticated clients desire. The Havener Law Firm LLC is committed to exploring alternative billing arrangements, and utilizes the billable hour only at a client’s choosing. We partner with clients to learn the details of clients' business operations and core values, so as to provide clients with wise counsel and practical common sense solutions in combination with the advocacy and writing skills essential to any first-rate representation.
